In the last decade, the school has been rebuilt extensively. The newest completion of the school is the campus. After being rebuilt, the campus demonstrates practicality and tidiness. It holds modern-teaching equipment, and satisfies the educational needs and requirements of the students.

      These years, Da Xing No. 1 middle school has always focused on

comprehension, research and fulfilling the national education course completely: The school's mission is to develop the school according to local law and teach the students about morality. After unremitting efforts, the school's education quality has been improved remarkably. We stress dimensions of education morals, knowledge, physical fitness, sociability and arts. We stress a multi facet education in order to ensure the students to have a positive study ethic. The continued efforts of No. 1 middle school have produced encouraging and effective management. As a result, the students possess strong morals, excel at arts and music, and have highly efficient classroom ethic.

     From 1996 to 2002, seven students in our school have been chosen as "Hope star" by the education committee of Beijing because they were rated the best high school students in their fields. It is very prestigious among thousands of high school students in Beijing to be chosen for this award. As compared to other high schools in the district, we rank the highest with over 98% of our students continuing their education at some of the most famous Universities in China. This includes Qinghua University and Beijing University. The community has praised our achievement in education as well as our school's ethics. Through the success of No. 1 middle school, education development has been promoted in Daxing District.
